Rentrak Corp., a company specializing in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising and entertainment industries, announced Gray Television, a broadcast company that operates multiple television stations serving numerous markets, signed a contract for local market measurement for ABC-affiliate KAKE in Wichita, Kansas and CBS-affiliate WIBW in Topeka, Kansas.
With the signing of this television group, Rentrak noted it now has four Wichita stations subscribing to its ratings data and measurement services, and the addition of the Topeka market increases Rentrak’s client roster to 36 stations in 18 local TV markets.
“Rentrak is excited to begin working with Gray Television and we are most pleased to increase our TV station count in the Wichita market as well as adding WIBW/Topeka to our roster of client stations,” said Steven Walsh, Rentrak’s Senior Vice President, Local Market Sales. “Gray Television will now have a distinct competitive advantage by using the StationView Essentials service in order to sell not only the size of their audiences, but also the level of viewer engagement.”
